Dr. Ayesha Quayyum received her bachelor’s degree from American University in Washington, DC. After receiving a degree in psychology, Dr. Quayyum attended medical school at American University in the Antigua College of Medicine.
With a passion for helping patients take care of the whole body, Dr. Quayyum decided to train in Family Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Kingsport, TN. After completing her residency program, she moved to Texas and joined the John Peter Smith Health System in Arlington.

She is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians. She has professional interests in preventive medicine, women’s health, chronic disease management, and pediatrics. She is looking forward to building long-term partnerships with her patients and utilizing an evidence-based approach to help them reach their optimal health. When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Quayyum loves spending time with her husband and kids.
