Experienced PMHNP/PA in Plano, Tx

We are looking for an experienced PMHNP/PA to specialize in caring for our adult and older adult patients (ages 55 and older). This position will work closely with our geriatric psychiatrist.

Salience Health is a multispecialty, outpatient clinic focused on providing collaborative care. Our goal is to help all patients reach functional remission and improve overall health outcomes. About the role of the Advanced Practice Provider  

• Supervision, collaboration, & mentorship provided by a psychiatrist and primary care physician 
• Must be able to see new and established patients 
• New Patient appointments are 60 minutes; F/U appointments are 20 minutes 
• APP must be able to see patients from ages 55+ 
• Understanding of DSM V Criteria and psychopharmacological management required  
• Ability to develop a differential diagnosis and complete medical workup required 
• Utilization of clinical data (vitals, labs, PHQ9, GAD7, WSAS, Epworth/Stop Bang) into decision making and treatment planning required 
• Participate in Interventional Psychiatry (training provided) 
• Up to 24 patients/day are scheduled: our providers see an average 20-22 patients/day  
• Majority of patient visits will be completed In-Office; remote work is not available for this position 
• Must be proficient with computers 
• Understanding ICD-10 and CPT codes; basic understanding of Coding & Billing required 
• All providers rotate after hours call 
• Monthly meetings with APP team, CNO, CMO 
• Quarterly meetings with all providers 
• Minimum of 2 years PMHNP/PA experience
