Kimberly Jones, N.P.

Profile Picture of Kimberly Jones

Caring For Patients For over 8 Years

Kimberly worked in Dialysis in East Texas for two years and Pediatric Home Health Care as a private duty nurse for special needs children and their families for the past six years. Both fields require a genuine understanding of the human spirit and how people can do so much with the right tools. These include a sound support system in their personal life and their medical team.

Kimberly believes everyone deserves and wants to be in their happy place. She works with the Smart Health & Wellness Center providers and collaborates to help reach that goal. It’s hard to go to the Doctor when you are anxious or depressed. She wants your visit to be memorable and wants you to walk away feeling that you were heard and that a plan has been put in place to help you reach the goal that puts you in your happy place again.

One of the most dedicated psychiatric providers in Plano

She comes from a close-knit family in a small town in East Texas and has been married for 34 years, with three grown children and three grandchildren. She loves music, shopping resale, secondhand shops, gardening, and eating at new and fun restaurants. So, yes, I am a “foodie.”

Her happy place is wherever water and music are! She is also a true animal lover. She has two dogs and two parrots (umbrella cockatoo and a blue and gold macaw). She hopes to get into more humanitarian efforts in the future, for example, working with the homeless population!
