Isabelle “Ellie” Brungardt, PA-C, a dedicated mental healthcare professional from Kansas City, Missouri, currently serves at the Legacy facility, where she is devoted to improving the mental health and overall well-being of her patients. Ellie’s mission is to enhance the daily lives of those she serves, recognizing that mental health impacts every aspect of life.

Ellie's academic achievements laid a solid foundation for her career. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. Pursuing her passion for mental health further, she obtained a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from LSU Health Shreveport. Her professional journey began in child and adolescent psychiatry, where she worked as a physician assistant. Following this, she took on a role in psychiatry and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Her dedication and expertise were recognized with the Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry.

Specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and ADHD, Ellie combines her extensive knowledge with a compassionate approach to patient care. She is deeply committed to providing individualized attention, ensuring that each patient receives the support and care they need to improve their mental health and quality of life.

While Ellie is not currently involved in community service or volunteer work, she dedicates her personal time to activities that bring her joy and relaxation. She enjoys taking her French bulldog, Cash, on walks and playing with him, which brings her a sense of peace and happiness. Spending time with family is also a priority, as it strengthens her personal connections and provides a supportive network. Additionally, Ellie loves traveling, which allows her to explore new cultures and gain fresh perspectives, enriching both her personal and professional life.

Ellie’s personal philosophy, “mental health is health,” serves as a constant source of inspiration, motivation, and guidance. This belief underscores her approach to patient care, reminding her and her patients that mental health is a fundamental component of overall well-being.
