Who do we see?
We specialize in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar and the coexisting conditions that accompany those diagnoses. For patients with a singular diagnosis of ADHD, Substance Abuse, or anything related to psychosis, we are likely not the best clinic for their care. If you are unsure, our patient liaisons are more than happy to point you in the right direction.
We are a specialty center that is dedicated to the collaborative treatment of Depressive and Anxiety disorders for ages 16 and up. Treatments often need to be tailored specifically to a patient’s unique needs to navigate the complexities of these illnesses. Our team will provide patient education, assessment, testing, and will offer a comprehensive plan of care. Our goal is for patients to reach remission and to help patient reconnect to a better quality of life.

Our Clinical Leadership
Dr. Nancy Donachie completed her training at McGovern, finishing as chief resident in Psychiatry and eventually serving as an attending faculty in the adult inpatient service. Following her time at McGovern, Donachie moved on to establish her own group practice, Bent Tree Psychiatric Associates, in Dallas. She held leadership roles such as the chief of staff at Richardson Regional Medical Center and the Texas Health Resources Plano, as well as the title of medical director of the Seay Center for child and adolescent psychiatry. Bent Tree Psychiatric Associates partnered with Salience Health, and Dr. Donachie was named Chief Medical Officer of Salience Health.
A message from Dr. Donachie:
"I chose psychiatry many years ago. It was the last thing I envisioned doing when I entered medical school. The brain is the last great frontier of medicine in many ways, and I found it to be fascinating. Psychiatry is an area of medicine that has great opportunities and challenges-but it is a place to make a difference. I come to work every day because I still feel the same passion that I have felt for many years-that I can have a role in making it work better. I have served this community for a long time. I have had the great privilege of having my patients trust me to care for them when they were at their most vulnerable and challenging times of their lives. As medical director of the Seay Center at THR, I had the privilege of participating in the development and growth of a fledgling unit to one that was recognized as one of the best at the time of my retirement from inpatient care. We all leave a Legacy- I hope mine will be one of service and contribution."
Sara Jaquay has worked as a nurse since 2005 and has always known her purpose in life is to care for others. In 2015, she felt called to work in behavioral health after a personal interaction with several patients whose only option to receive care was to see providers who were not trained nor had any interest in providing care for individuals with behavioral health needs. She knew she needed to be part of the solution; she quickly applied to school to become an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with a specialty in psychiatry. She joined Salience Health in 2017 as a Nurse Practitioner Graduate and is now our Chief Nursing Officer; together we have worked to ensure we provide support and training to our newly hired APPs to facilitate the highest quality of care is given to our patients.
