Dr. Scott Newton brings a wealth of expertise and a patient-centered philosophy to his practice at Salience Health’s Dallas location. Specializing in interventional psychiatry with a focus on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Dr. Newton is dedicated to offering advanced, evidence-based treatments that address a wide range of mental health concerns. His mission is grounded in the belief that every patient is unique, and their care should reflect that. He takes the time to understand each individual as a complete person, creating personalized treatment plans that help patients regain a sense of balance and rediscover their true selves.
Dr. Newton is also deeply committed to expanding mental health care access to underserved communities. With his fluency in Spanish, he provides compassionate, culturally sensitive care to Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring that language is never a barrier to receiving quality mental health support. His passion for education is reflected in his role as adjunct faculty at the prestigious UT Southwestern Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry, where he helps to train the next generation of mental health professionals.
Beyond his professional work, Dr. Newton is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys participating in a variety of sports and recreational activities. His personal interests extend to creative pursuits, including writing and music composition, which allow him to explore new ideas and maintain a well-rounded approach to life.
