Philip Lafontaine, PA-C

Philip Lafontaine, PA-C serves patients at Salience Health’s Legacy location, where he is dedicated to promoting mental well-being through compassionate, patient-centered care. His mission is rooted in fostering empowerment and the relentless pursuit of remission, helping individuals not only manage symptoms but also reclaim a sense of balance and hope in their lives.

Philip specializes in psychiatry and behavioral health, bringing a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to each patient encounter. He works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans, combining clinical expertise with empathy and respect. His goal is to ensure that every patient feels supported, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey.

Philip earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences from Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 2021 and went on to complete his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at LSU Health Shreveport, where he became a certified physician assistant in 2024. This foundation allows him to deliver care that is both clinically sound and deeply compassionate.

Outside of his professional life, Philip enjoys walking his dogs, mountain biking, and spending time outdoors. He also values time with friends and family, finding balance and connection in the relationships and activities that bring him joy.
