Addison Zaya is a native of Midland, Texas. She began her education at Midland College, where she was a student-athlete. After graduating with her Associate of Applied Science degree, she continued her studies and athletic pursuits at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. There she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2015. Next, she attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She received a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2018. Addison simultaneously specialized in Primary Healthcare and Specialty Psychiatric Healthcare, studying the design of integrative medicine.
Addison is double board certified by The American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and The American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Caring for and partnering with patients for over 5 years
Due to her integrative background, Addison takes a comprehensive and individualized approach to care, emphasizing preventative interventions. She provides primary care and specialty psychiatric services for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Outside of work, Addison is an exercise enthusiast and continues to enjoy playing volleyball and other sports. She is often found spending time with friends, family, and her dog Maggie.
