Plano Office
Many mysteries remain in our understanding of the mind and brain, but the central importance of empathy, compassion, and human connection is clear. Each of my patients have unique strengths and struggles and my goal is to provide every one with the same kind of care I would want for a family member.”
Compassionate Psychiatrists in Plano, TX
Dr. Bryan Kromenacker is a psychiatrist at Salience Health who blends medical expertise and cognitive neuroscience to provide patients with innovative, evidence-based care. At Salience, he focuses on helping patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD find lasting relief through Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), therapy, and personalized medication management.
Dr. Kromenacker’s expertise has been recognized nationally. He received the Chairman’s Research Award from UT Southwestern Psychiatry Residency (2025), participated in the National Institute of Mental Health Outstanding Resident Award Program (2024), and earned the Chair’s Choice Award from the Society for Biological Psychiatry (2023). These honors reflect his commitment to advancing innovative approaches in interventional psychiatry and improving outcomes for patients.
Dr. Kromenacker’s clinical philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental health diagnoses do not define who people are or who they can become. His role is to remove barriers to recovery so that patients can reconnect with their true selves. By combining neuroscience insights with Salience’s collaborative, patient-centered model, he ensures that every patient receives care designed to achieve remission and connect to a better quality of life.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Kromenacker strengthens Salience Health’s impact through his research background and expertise in interventional psychiatry. He serves as volunteer faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he teaches, mentors, and supports ongoing research in depression and psychosis. He also works with Compassion Neuroscience, providing charity-covered TMS therapy to veterans and Gold Star family members living with PTSD, depression, and anxiety.
Through his work at Salience Health and in the community, Dr. Kromenacker advances the reach of innovative, compassionate care for patients across North Texas.
