Madeline Renals, M.D.

Dr. Madeline Renals is a psychiatrist at Salience Health’s Plano location who provides compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. She believes that effective psychiatric care starts with listening—taking the time to understand what each patient is experiencing, how it is affecting their life, and what they hope to achieve through treatment.

Her approach is grounded in building trusting relationships and creating an environment where patients feel comfortable, respected, and involved in their care. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Dr. Renals considers how a patient’s mental health is affecting their everyday functioning and quality of life. From there, she works collaboratively with each patient to establish meaningful treatment goals and determine an approach that fits their individual needs.

For patients who have not found enough relief through traditional treatments, Dr. Renals is also comfortable exploring additional options, including TMS therapy when appropriate. She understands how discouraging it can be when previous treatments have not worked as hoped and believes an important part of her role is helping patients recognize that there may still be options available. She strives to bring a sense of hope and possibility to the treatment process, even when the path forward may not initially feel clear.
