Janet L. Maltos, LCSW, is a Clinical Therapist at Salience Health’s Plano location. She is dedicated to helping patients navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels empowering, drawing from their personal strengths to foster growth, resilience, and healing. Her mission is to create a safe and supportive environment where self-discovery leads to lasting change and a more positive outlook on life.

Janet’s professional background includes work across hospital, residential, and outpatient settings, where she has guided patients through complex mental health and substance use concerns. With advanced training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, she brings proven, evidence-based approaches that strengthen patient outcomes and support Salience’s core values of providing data-driven, patient-centered care.

Her areas of clinical expertise include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, substance use, and life transitions. She draws on her broad experience to help patients move forward with clarity and confidence, ensuring they feel both supported and empowered in their treatment journey.

Before entering the field of clinical practice, Janet served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Her military service, which included humanitarian missions and deployment overseas, instilled in her a deep sense of resilience, service, and compassion—qualities she carries into her work with patients every day.

Outside of her professional role, Janet enjoys exploring different cuisines as a self-proclaimed foodie, caring for her ever-growing collection of plants, and finding balance through creative hobbies like crocheting and painting.
