What Is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on applying acquired skills to help manage anxiety and depression effectively. In CBT sessions, therapists collaborates with patients to explore the underlying assumptions and attitudes influencing interpretation of various situations. Through this process, you’ll gain insights into how your thoughts and feelings impact your overall well-being.

By the end of the session, you will be able to recognize and correct negative thought patterns that lead you to struggle with emotions such as fear or hopelessness.
