Dr. Neelma Khan is a compassionate and dedicated board-certified family medicine physician with a profound commitment to improving healthcare access and quality, particularly for immigrant populations. Raised in the vibrant city of New York, Dr. Khan was deeply moved by the healthcare disparities faced by immigrant communities, motivating her to pursue a career in medicine to effect positive change.
Dr. Khan embarked on her academic journey by earning her undergraduate degree in Biology from SUNY Buffalo State College. Following her passion for medicine, she pursued her medical degree at UNIBE (Universidad Iberoamericana) in the Dominican Republic. She then honed her skills and expertise through a rigorous Family Medicine Residency at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, where she seamlessly integrated her commitment to health and wellness into her practice.

Fluent in English, Spanish, Punjabi, and Urdu, Dr. Khan's linguistic versatility enables her to effectively communicate with and provide care to diverse patient populations. Beyond her clinical duties, she actively engages in volunteer work, including medical relief missions with IMANA to underserved regions such as Haiti and the Dominican Republic, further exemplifying her dedication to global health equity.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Khan finds joy in spending quality time with her family. She is an avid traveler who relishes exploring new cultures and landscapes, and enjoys hiking and immersing herself in the beauty of the outdoors.
