Malik Elhindi, LMSW

Malik started off his professional life with a career in business. After graduating from the University of California Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2016, Malik worked for 7 years in business management across the telecom, auto-repair, and manufacturing industries. Malik fell in love with the human side of business management early on. He preferred solving employee problems and customer complaints to anything else. As his interest in management waned, he looked to social work and eventually graduated with a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2023.

Malik was drawn to Salience Health for its dedication to providing every single client with continuous, quality care. Malik is passionate about consumerism, economic inequality, and the systemic oppression perpetuating injustice and inequality. This has manifested in his fundraising and volunteer work with Helping Hand for Relief and Development, Islamic Relief USA, Communities in Schools North Texas, and United Way. As a minority, Malik aims to provide culturally competent and high-quality care to all his patients. Outside of work, Malik enjoys watching sports, cooking, playing board games, and attending events at his local mosque.
